I’ve been tagged

December 21, 2007 · 3 Comments

Ok, so I was tagged last night week by Megnificent. This means I need to come up with 7 things about myself that might or might not be interesting. Since my life is an open book, I can’t imagine coming up with something new and enlightening. I’ll try not to make up stuff, this being the Christmas season and all. I’d hate to get coal in my stockings.

The tag rules are:
1) Link the person who tagged you.
2) Post the rules on your blog
3) Share 7 facts about yourself.
4) Tag 7 random people and include links to their blogs.
5) Let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Here goes….#1

Me – What’s an interesting fact about me?
MrD – Well, you can be very kind when you choose to be.
Me – What’s that supposed to mean?
MrD – staring at me like I’m an idiot. It means what it says.
Me – rolling slanty eyes his direction
MrD – suddenly hearing-impaired, focused on “It’s A Wonderful Life” wishing he was George.

So, I’m a kind, wonderful soul and that’s a fact! Really….

#2 – I cry every time I hear children singing. Every single darn tootin’ time.

#3 – I am allergic to exercise. Surely. We have a home gym. I buy stuff to look cute and get fit. I never, ever use it. We have a weight contraption thing, treadmill, bicycle, ab lounger, elliptical, and the entire set of Richard Simmons videos (still in cellophane I’m sure). And pilates tapes, and pilates books. And yoga stuff. Which reminds me I need one of those big balls.

#4 – Colors bring me joy. My most favorite is cranberry red. After that, I love every single shade and hue of blue.

#5 – I love to cook, but hate eating my own cooking. I’m happiest at a covered dish potluck dinner where I can nibble everyone else’s food

#6 – My biggest pet peeve is lack of effort. I don’t expect perfection, but if you’re going to do something, give it your best shot.

#7 – I’m a defensive driver. Last week I got in a spin on the ice and safely maneuvered my vehicle through a couple of circles to a complete stop without going into oncoming traffic OR off into the ravine on the right. While talking to my mom on my cell phone. After praying, while sitting sideways on the roadway, I made a few moderations in my driving habits. I don’t crash into things (going forward, anyway). Just stay out of my way. Also, I drive a tank. But I’m usually careful and get defensive if you criticize my driving. So beware.

Ok, now to tag 7 more people:

Linny, Rose, Sherri, Kendra, Angela, Keith, Val and Kaci. (yes, that’s 8). If you don’t have a blog, you can list them in the comments below. Join in!

    7 facts about ME:

    1. I don’t have a blog, so I have to leave my answers here, where everyone can read them. I’m thinking about a blog for the new year, but I’m not sure.

    2. I think about doing lots of things – scrapbooking, crafting, blogging, but I somehow put them off. Then when I finally decide to do them, I’m obsessed until they’re done.

    3. I still don’t know what I want to do when I grow up.

    4. Like a true Scorpio, I love fiercely. I love my sons, my dogs, my “other sons” Ace + Ryan (hahaha – as if they’re my own boys). I also can intensely dislike something, but I’m working on that.

    5. I’ve seen God’s miracles in my life and in others around me and know that He’s invited me to be part of some pretty amazing and miraculous things. I believe the best is yet to come.

    6. I love Christmas – everything about it. I love the weather, the decorations, shopping, baking, wrapping, entertaining, the Christmas story and the gift of Jesus, the music. I love it so much that, unfortunately, when it’s over, I’m sad.

    7. Deep down inside I feel like I’m still a young person and every now and then I surprise myself when that part of me comes out. I hate admitting my age :-O !!

Okay that was 7. I don’t have a blog, so I can’t link to anyone. And that’s why it’s good that you picked 8 people!

    Merry Christmas. I love you!
