Word of the Week

To increase our vocabulary skills and add a little fun, we’re  each picking a “Word of the Week” to share.  On Monday, we’ll share our word and the dictionary definition.  The rest of the week we’ll use our word in conversation, particularly during family dinner.    Each of us will write our word on the “Word of the Week” sheet that will be posted on the ‘fridge – and in time we’ll go back and review.  It may be fun to make a word find or other game using our list as it grows.

I went through our old Reader’s Digests and pulled out the Word Power pages.  To help me remember, I subscribed to Word A Day and linked it on side bar.  No excuses.
