In response to the comments and personal e-mails you’ve sent, I’d like to say THANK YOU! for your words of encouragement.
The part of me who still wants to believe my dad was really Elvis Presley keeps holding me back. I’ve outed myself to my family and friends (who I was most worried about) – and they’re supportive. There is much beauty with the ugly, and I agree it is a story that needs to be told. Especially to every mom or dad who thinks ignoring destructive behavior doesn’t impact your kids. Your actions are gospel to your children.

Admitting you have a problem is the first step in recovery!
I had to share…my DH great uncle Dominic actually toured with the King, playing guitar on at least four albums!
