English Tea Party

Today we celebrated England with tea. After pressing our linen table cloth, we prepared scones, jam and fresh fruit for our party. Yesterday we even found Devonshire cream at the grocery. It’s a cross between sour cream and whipped cream – leaning toward the sour. The kids made “krackers” that were filled with candy. We finished our school week on a high note!

  1. Mmmm. . . pass the lemon curd!

Can’t wait for it to cool off a little here. Girls and I had tea daily in cooler weather! The boy would come too, but just for the scones and goodies. 🙂
