Weblink Wednesday – Lapbook

This is the first lapbook we attempted – during our bird study last year.

What is a lapbook? It is a neat way to organize information as well as a hands on creative learning experience, also known as notebooking! You can buy ready-made kits, or you can make your own from a simple file folder or cardstock. Credit goes to Tammy Dubi of Tobin’s Lab who coined the term, created and marketed the concept. Check out the graphic below for lots of information to get going:

  1. Kim… this is TOO good! Be sure to add it to Mr. Linky tomorrow. I’ll actually have it up and running tonight if you want to check back.

Hope you are having a great day.

  2. I love Tammy at Tobin’s lab! We were able to visit with her extensively during our home school convention this year. Their entire warehouse had burned down, but God has restored everything for them!

Any time you need something to dissect, go to Tobin’s Lab. We bought some Owl Pellets there.

🙂 Only home schoolers would be excited about an owl pellet, I know.

  3. Thank you for sharing the neat scrapbook lapbook link. I Scrapbook my portfolios and we also do LOTS of lapbooks.

    Great links
