I know you’re probably tired of hearing about this financial mess.  I debate whether to post my thoughts, but it weighs heavy on my mind lately.  Today the Senate is sending a revised plan back to the House.  It is basically the same, with a few tweaks that might attract a few voters.  It includes this:

The revised bailout bill also includes a “Mental Health Parity” provision, which would require health insurance companies to cover mental illness at parity with physical illness.

How the heck does help our financial situation?  I know the Senate does not introduce financial bills – and this is just a volley back, but couldn’t they do better?   Dave Ramsey, I’m tellin’ ya.   We can have a financial rock leading us – or political monkeys scratching each other’s backs.  Don’t be silent.

Max says write your congressmen.
